Currently, Tran Van Thoi Commune has a total of 38 hamlets. According to the plan, after the reorganization, the entire commune will reduce the number of hamlets by 20, leaving 18 hamlets.
At the conference, delegates unanimously agreed with the proposed number of new hamlets, while also contributing many practical suggestions such as: It is necessary to consider naming the new hamlets appropriately, in accordance with the local traditions, culture, and history, and to meet the aspirations and wishes of the people; the arrangement process needs to carefully consider the area and geographical location to ensure optimal conditions for officials in management and for the people in terms of travel and transactions.
Comrade Kieu Minh Hung, former Secretary of the Tran Van Thoi District Party Committee, offered insightful opinions on naming the new hamlets.
Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung, Secretary of the Party Branch of Hamlet 8, contributed his opinion on the division of land area and administrative boundaries between hamlets after the reorganization.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen The Chau, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Van Thoi Commune, acknowledged and accepted all the contributions. The commune will review and adjust the proposal to finalize it and submit it to the competent authority for consideration and decision soon.
