Local authorities are seeking feedback on the plan for reorganizing hamlets.

The Ministry of Interior clarifies the plan for arranging part-time officials at the commune level after streamlining the administrative apparatus.
Complete the overall plan for rearranging and reorganizing villages and residential areas before June 10, 2026.

* On June 3rd, the People's Committee of Dam Doi commune organized a consultation with former leaders of the Dam Doi District Party Committee and the Party Committees of Tan Duyet, Tan Dan communes and Dam Doi town who have retired, regarding the plan for rearranging the hamlets.

According to the plan, Dam Doi commune will be reorganized from 19 hamlets to 9 hamlets.

Comrade Nguyen Van Luu, former Secretary of the Dam Doi District Party Committee, contributed his opinions on the plan for rearranging hamlets in Dam Doi commune.

Comrade Do Hoang Nghia, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Duyet commune, delivered a speech at the conference.

Many opinions at the conference suggested that reorganizing and streamlining the number of hamlets is necessary, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the political system at the grassroots level and meeting the development requirements of the new era.

However, during the reorganization process, careful consideration should be given to the name of the new hamlet, administrative boundaries, population size, living conditions, and the impacts after the reorganization.

Comrade Huynh Van Hien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dam Doi commune, received the feedback.

Acknowledging and accepting the feedback, Comrade Huynh Van Hien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dam Doi commune, affirmed that the hamlet rearrangement process will be carried out openly and democratically, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

* Previously, on June 2nd, Tran Van Thoi Commune held a conference to gather opinions from retired officials, former district and commune leaders from various periods, and hamlet secretaries on the plan for reorganizing hamlets in the area (the Plan). Comrade Nguyen The Chau, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Van Thoi Commune, delivered a speech at the conference.

Currently, Tran Van Thoi Commune has a total of 38 hamlets. According to the plan, after the reorganization, the entire commune will reduce the number of hamlets by 20, leaving 18 hamlets.

At the conference, delegates unanimously agreed with the proposed number of new hamlets, while also contributing many practical suggestions such as: It is necessary to consider naming the new hamlets appropriately, in accordance with the local traditions, culture, and history, and to meet the aspirations and wishes of the people; the arrangement process needs to carefully consider the area and geographical location to ensure optimal conditions for officials in management and for the people in terms of travel and transactions.

Comrade Kieu Minh Hung, former Secretary of the Tran Van Thoi District Party Committee, offered insightful opinions on naming the new hamlets.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung, Secretary of the Party Branch of Hamlet 8, contributed his opinion on the division of land area and administrative boundaries between hamlets after the reorganization.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen The Chau, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Van Thoi Commune, acknowledged and accepted all the contributions. The commune will review and adjust the proposal to finalize it and submit it to the competent authority for consideration and decision soon.
