Dai Lanh Commune in the last days of July was more bustling with the presence of young volunteers who are students of Khanh Hoa University. With the theme "Youthful shock - Creativity - Volunteering for the community", 20 volunteer students of the school's Youth Union coordinated with Dai Lanh Commune Youth Union to carry out practical tasks, contributing to supporting the people and the locality.

From the first day of arriving in the locality, the volunteers supported the Commune People's Committee in organizing a training conference on digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) application for officials and civil servants; at the same time, they coordinated to support the activation of level 2 electronic identification for people. At the Dai Lanh Commune Public Administration Service Center, the volunteer students were enthusiastically on duty, supporting and guiding people to complete procedures here.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Hong - a resident of Dai Lanh commune said: When she came to do land procedures, as soon as she entered the center's door, she was welcomed by young volunteers, asked about her needs and guided to the procedure counter. "Thanks to the young people, I completed the procedures more quickly, the documents were also processed quickly because they were done correctly, saving a lot of time" - Ms. Hong shared.
Taking place over 3 days in Dai Lanh commune, the volunteer campaign of Khanh Hoa University Youth Union was built and implemented with many specific and practical activities such as: Supporting the settlement of administrative procedures, training in digital skills, taking care of children, showing gratitude to people with meritorious services and policy families, organizing environmental sanitation... Ms. Mai Xuan Phuong - Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa University Youth Union said: "Many specific activities can be mentioned such as the volunteer team organized the program "Cooking for children", preparing 50 meals for children in difficult circumstances, giving 25 gifts worth 400,000 VND/dish to students who have overcome difficulties, encouraging the spirit of learning in them. Organizing for children to play online English games with prizes compiled and designed by the Green Summer Soldiers according to the program "Digital Popular Education"; offering incense at Ninh Ma Victory Monument on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day; cleaning the environment in Cau Dua area; Coordinated with Saigon Eye Hospital to organize eye examinations for local people... "The campaign did not take long, so we focused all our efforts on implementing the activities with the spirit of doing our best. Thanks to the close coordination and support from the locality, the projects and tasks were all completed well, bringing practical meaning" - Ms. Phuong shared.
In addition to contributing to supporting the people and locality, the 2025 Green Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is also a place for volunteers from Khanh Hoa University to have the opportunity to contribute and grow. Dang Thi Thu Thoai - a third-year student majoring in English Pedagogy shared: “This is the first time I have participated in the Green Summer Campaign. The days of eating, staying and working with my teammates in Dai Lanh commune are very valuable experiences. Through the campaign, I learned how to organize, work in a team, arrange time, handle situations and above all, live more responsibly towards the community.”
Mr. Vo Dinh Chau - Vice Chairman of Dai Lanh Commune People's Committee said: "Khanh Hoa University's volunteer campaign in the commune not only provides practical support for administrative work, but also creates a joyful atmosphere, connecting young people with students.
