Exciting Cultural and Sports Festival in Hai Hau area

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the morning of September 2, Hai Hau commune chaired and coordinated with the communes of Hai Anh, Hai Hung, Hai Quang, Hai Tien, Hai Xuan, Hai An, and Hai Thinh to organize the opening ceremony of the Hai Hau Regional Cultural and Sports Festival.

The opening ceremony began with a parade of 8 communes with over 3,000 athletes, actors, officials, civil servants, workers and students. The exciting cultural activities taking place in the opening program included: art performances ; folk dances, lion dances , dragon dances ; drums, drums, brass trumpets, stilt walking, gongs ; mass art festivals... The performances were imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the ancient land of Quan Anh - the coastal homeland of Hai Hau district (old).

Within the framework of the festival program, there are also attractive sports competitions: badminton, pickleball, volleyball, volleyball, chess, table tennis, tug of war, rowing, swimming and many unique folk games with the participation of agencies, units, businesses, schools, clubs of 8 communes.

The Hai Hau Cultural and Sports Festival is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party . Through the Festival , we promote the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, and educate the young generation on the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source"; at the same time, we create a competitive atmosphere among all classes of people, promote the movement of physical training and sports, restore and develop traditional and ethnic sports, contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, and build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
