At the market, more than 20 booths displayed and introduced consumer goods, ethnic costumes, souvenirs, traditional handicrafts, cuisine and local agricultural products of organizations, businesses, and business households in the commune, Chieng Hac commune and some border villages of Xieng Kho district (Hua Phan, Laos). The market aimed to promote and exchange goods, strengthen the connection between people on both sides of the border, promote production and business, and at the same time attract tourists, expand exchanges and seek cooperation and investment opportunities.
The festival also featured sports activities, with 18 teams from villages, commune police, and commune People's Committee participating. The teams competed in the following sports: Tug of war, stick pushing, tu lu, sack jumping, blindfolded duck catching, soccer, and Pickleball. Each athlete was registered to compete according to their strengths and was selected from the base.
With careful technical preparation, enthusiastic, vibrant and united competitive spirit, the teams have given the audience thrilling and exciting competitions, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch and cheer, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere on the occasion of Independence Day, September 2.
