Submarines and missile frigates show off their power in a parade at sea.


On the morning of September 2, the Party Central Committee, the President, the Government, the National Assembly, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi City solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

One of the highlights of the parade is the sea parade taking place at Cam Ranh military base (Khanh Hoa), the image is transmitted to the main screen at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi).

In the sea parade, the Kilo 636 submarine, missile frigate, anti-submarine frigate, missile boat, gunboat, multi-purpose rescue ship, Ka-28 anti-submarine helicopter and DHC-6 seaplane along with many other equipment and vehicles stood out.

DHC-6 aircraft squadrons and Ka28 anti-submarine helicopters along with missile boat squadrons participated in the parade at sea.

Kilo 636 submarine is a modern diesel-electric submarine system, known as the "Black Hole in the Ocean", the pride of the Vietnam People's Navy, a symbol of strength in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.


Kilo 636 submarines are equipped with modern missiles that can destroy targets on land and at sea; have the ability to avoid enemy air defense fire on a common trajectory and automatically find and destroy targets accurately.

The 159 class anti-submarine frigate is a type of ship with great maneuverability and firepower, such as: AK726 cannon, torpedo launcher, jet bomb launcher... The ship has a large displacement, maximum speed of 24 hl/h; the ship can operate independently or in coordination with other forces; is used to search for and destroy enemy submarines and underground targets; anti-submarine for our surface ships and submarines.

The 1241.8 fast attack missile boat is a high-speed boat, nicknamed the "lightning" boat; with a maximum speed of 43 hl/h, equipped with modern weapons, strong firepower, such as missiles, automatic cannons, anti-aircraft guns and modern radar systems, capable of simultaneously tracking 15 targets, locking 3-5 targets at the same time; used to destroy moving and fixed targets at sea of the enemy.

The 1241RE missile boat has a maximum speed of 43 hl/h, displacement of 502 tons; equipped with powerful weapons such as missiles, automatic cannons, anti-aircraft guns and modern long-range radar systems. With high mobility and powerful firepower, the boat is used to carry out patrol and reconnaissance missions, ready for combat in all situations.

The TT-400TP Artillery Ship can operate for 30 days and nights at sea, with a range of about 2,200 nautical miles. The ship is equipped with a number of modern weapons that can destroy enemy targets at sea, in the air, on shore and perform patrolling missions.

Also participating in the sea parade was the SPA 4207 fleet of the Border Guard. This is a high-speed patrol boat designed for patrolling, coastal protection, search and rescue and maritime safety missions. The fleet of the Standing Militia Squadron is used to carry out combat readiness missions to assert sovereignty over seas and islands, patrol, reconnaissance, collect and process information in the air and at sea.

The sea parade gathered more than 30 ships, 10 boats, 4 planes and more than 2,000 officers and soldiers, creating a majestic picture on the waves and sky of the Fatherland.
