VHO - On March 31, the People's Committee of Son La province held a conference to announce and present decisions of the Chairman of the People's Committee on personnel matters and the restructuring of the leadership apparatus at several departments and affiliated units. Accordingly, Ms. Hoang Thi Doi, Deputy Head of the Standing Delegation of the 15th National Assembly of Son La province, was transferred to the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province.

At the conference, Decision No. 744/QD-UBND dated March 28, 2026, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province was announced, transferring Ms. Hoang Thi Doi, Deputy Head of the Standing Delegation of the National Assembly of Son La province, 15th term, to the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province. The term of office is 5 years, effective from March 29, 2026.

The conference also announced Decision No. 768/QD-UBND dated March 30, 2026, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province on the transfer and appointment of Ms. Le Thi Hong Anh, Director of the Son La Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, to the position of Deputy Director of the Son La Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The term of office is 5 years, effective from April 1, 2026.

Along with that, Decision No. 778/QD-UBND dated March 30, 2026, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province was announced, regarding the transfer and appointment of Mr. Tran Xuan Viet, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La province, to the position of Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Son La province. The term of office is 5 years, effective from April 1, 2026.

Mr. Ha Trung Chien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee, presented the appointment decision for the Director of the Son La Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to Ms. Hoang Thi Doi.

At the conference, Mr. Ha Trung Chien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that culture, sports, and tourism are important sectors, with tourism, along with agriculture, identified as key economic sectors of Son La province. In the coming time, these sectors face many opportunities but also numerous challenges, requiring innovation, creativity, and strong determination.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province congratulated the officials who were transferred and appointed.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Son La Provincial People's Committee requested that the leadership of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Son La Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center continue to promote the spirit of unity, responsibility, and proactiveness in their work; strengthen coordination with departments, agencies and localities; promote tourism, investment, trade, and agricultural product consumption; promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

At the same time, it is requested that the officials who have been transferred and appointed to new positions continue to develop their abilities, experience, and sense of responsibility; contribute to improving the efficiency of the unit's operations, contribute to the overall development of the province, and successfully implement the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.
