To practically organize activities to care for and protect children on International Children's Day, June 1st, on the morning of May 30th, at the SOS Children's Village in Ca Mau province, the Youth Unions of the following units: the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Department of Health , the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Ca Mau, and the Ca Mau Lottery Company Limited jointly organized the program "Joining Forces for Our Beloved Children".

The program took place in a warm atmosphere with many practical activities, providing comprehensive care, both materially and spiritually, for the 54 children living and studying at the SOS Children's Village (38 children residing in 5 houses and 16 children in the Youth Hostel).

Young medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, organized general health check-ups for children at the SOS Children's Village.

In response to the third phase of the nationwide health check-up and screening program in the province, a team of young doctors and medical staff from the Youth Union of the Department of Health conducted general health check-ups for the children; monitored their medical history, measured their weight and height, and performed specialized examinations in areas such as internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and dentistry.

Notably, 100% of the children participating in the program have electronic health records. Doctors also provide nutritional advice for children with stunted growth, guidance on self-care skills, and disease prevention appropriate for each age group.
