Based on feedback and suggestions from local residents, the My Tuong 2 hamlet area has recently experienced several infrastructure deficiencies, posing potential safety risks. Specifically, Nguyen Thi Muoi road, the main route connecting Truong Toa Market and Roc La Market, leads to the provincial road and connects to neighboring areas. However, this intersection frequently experiences accidents due to sharp bends and two overlapping utility poles. To date, there have been 6 traffic accidents, resulting in 1 fatality and several serious injuries.

Faced with this situation, the Vinh Thanh Commune Police advised the local Party Committee and government to implement a project to address "traffic black spots" and build "safety points for people to travel," thereby spreading the "Three Best" emulation movement within the force.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Kien, Deputy Head of the Vinh Thanh Commune Police, said: "To carry out this project, the commune police instilled in all officers and soldiers the spirit of participation. The entire force promptly mobilized funds from organizations and individuals with the means; many officers and soldiers also voluntarily contributed. When construction began to repair and expand the road, officers and soldiers directly participated in the initial stages of renovation, laying the foundation, pouring stones, etc."

Police officers and soldiers of Vinh Thanh commune have both raised funds and contributed labor to carry out projects to improve "traffic black spots".

It can be seen that the "Three Best" emulation movement of the Vinh Thanh Commune Police always puts the people at the center, emphasizing the spirit of serving the people, thereby strengthening the close relationship between the people and the police force, working together to effectively implement the commune's policies and movements and promote local socio -economic development.

During the implementation process, this practical activity received active attention and support from the people of My Tuong 2 hamlet, ranging from financial contributions to labor assistance. The consensus and enthusiastic response of the people contributed to the timely and effective resolution of the "traffic black spot," while also raising awareness of shared responsibility in ensuring traffic order and safety in the locality.

To ensure residents could celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 with peace of mind, the Vinh Thanh Commune Police quickly implemented the project. After conducting a site survey, the unit mobilized all resources according to the budget estimate to repair a section of road over 25 meters long, widening it by an additional 1.5 meters, with a total cost of over 17 million VND. Notably, the construction force mainly consisted of "available resources," including commune police officers and local residents. Some contributed labor, others provided food, water, lighting, and borrowed tools... enabling the construction team to work even into the evening and complete the project as soon as possible.

Mr. Cao Van Giang, a resident of My Tuong 2 hamlet, shared: “This road used to be very complicated, with constant traffic safety risks. Therefore, when the commune police started the project, everyone in the hamlet was happy. The officers and soldiers worked hard to ensure the project's costs didn't escalate, and they worked even into the evenings to help complete the project quickly. This deeply moved us, and we are ready to join hands to support the project so that it can be widened and made safer.”

With the project completed, the people of My Tuong 2 hamlet are extremely happy and relieved to welcome the New Year of the Horse 2026.

The successful elimination of "traffic black spots" brought great joy to local residents, while also building greater trust and satisfaction among the people towards the police force. As a result, people are more confident in providing information and pointing out other areas with potential safety risks in the locality. This further affirms the core role of the commune police force in listening to the people's opinions, promptly advising and resolving issues arising from the grassroots level; contributing to building the image of police officers who are close to the people and serve the people.
