E10 gasoline is blended from 10% bioethanol and 90% mineral gasoline, helping to reduce mineral gasoline consumption by about 10%, while also reducing emissions during use.

To prepare for the launch of the new product, Petrolimex Bac Lieu Branch stores have proactively upgraded their storage tanks and pumps, strengthened fuel quality control, and organized training for staff on storage procedures, customer consultation, and the characteristics of E10 gasoline.

People are bringing their vehicles to gas stations to refuel with E10 bioethanol, contributing to the use of environmentally friendly fuel.

Mr. Lam Tan Phu, Store Manager of Petrol Station No. 72, Bac Lieu Petrol Branch, said that the consumption of E10 gasoline is still lower than that of E5 gasoline because consumers have many other choices. In the future, the unit will continue to strengthen communication efforts to help customers better understand the benefits and characteristics of this type of fuel.

At the Tra Kha Petrol Station, a subsidiary of Bac Lieu Petroleum and Gas Company Limited, the sale of E10 gasoline has been implemented since April 15, 2026. Currently, five of the company's stores in the area distribute this type of fuel.

According to reports, the transition process went quite smoothly. Consumers quickly adopted and accepted the new product, and there was no disruption to business operations. Daily sales volume remained relatively stable.

Gas stations are now selling E10 bioethanol fuel, ensuring a sufficient supply to meet the transportation and production needs of the people.

Ms. Ninh Thi Oanh, Store Manager of Tra Kha Gas Station, said: "People already have a certain understanding of E10 gasoline, so they are not surprised when they encounter the product. Before launching the business, the unit had fully prepared the necessary personnel and organized guidance and explanations for customers about the advantages of E10 gasoline, such as being environmentally friendly and contributing to ensuring domestic fuel supply. Thanks to this, the business of the new product has gone smoothly."

Thanks to the proactive efforts of petroleum businesses in preparing technical infrastructure, securing supplies, and conducting public awareness campaigns, the deployment of E10 gasoline in the area is progressing smoothly. Not only does it meet the fuel needs of the people, but introducing E10 gasoline also contributes to reducing emissions and increasing the proportion of biofuel use, in line with the government 's direction. This is considered a crucial step in the roadmap for using clean fuels, aiming for green and sustainable development in the future.
