

On the morning of June 10, the People's Committee of Son Tay town and the town's Culture - Information and Sports Center organized the Launching Ceremony in response to the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people and the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Open Race - For Peace 2025.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Son Tay Town People's Committee Le Dai Thang emphasized that the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people and the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Open Race - For Peace 2025 are practical activities with great significance in terms of the benefits and effects of physical exercise and sports in general, and athletics in particular.

This is an activity to protect and improve health and quality of life, build a healthy cultural environment, and contribute to strengthening the great national unity. Thereby, promoting the movement of physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho, building Olympic Running Day into an annual traditional activity, gradually building the habit of regular physical exercise and sports, improving health and pushing back social evils, contributing to building and developing an increasingly rich and civilized society.
Launching the Olympic Running Day, Vice Chairman of Son Tay Town People's Committee Le Dai Thang called on officials and people in the town to actively respond and participate, contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, gradually building the habit of regularly exercising and playing sports to improve health.
The launching ceremony in response to the Olympic Running Day was attended by 1,500 people, including officers from agencies, units and armed forces of military units stationed in the area; and students from secondary and high schools in the town.
At the final round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace 2025, more than 150 athletes competed in 4 distances: Male and female junior high school students (1,500m); male (3,000m) and female (1,500m) for communes, wards, agencies, units, enterprises, and military units in the area.
