Doan Xuan Khue Minh - golf coach at SSM Vietnam and an experienced Vietnam National Golf Team player at NCAA Division 1 - shares about the opportunity to cooperate with SSM Vietnam as well as her expectations for the school's development.
As a member of the Vietnam National Golf Team with experience competing in NCAA Division 1 Women's Golf, what do you think about the launch of SSM Vietnam?
Honestly, I wish SSM Vietnam had opened sooner! As someone who had to move to Australia to develop his golf career and then compete in NCAA Division 1, I understand the challenges young Vietnamese golfers face when trying to balance high-level golf training with quality education. Now, with this fantastic facility, young people can excel in both golf and academics without having to go overseas too early or spend a fortune on international training.
What do you expect from SSM Vietnam's impact in developing youth golf?
The school’s world-class facilities and rigorous curriculum ensure that students can develop their golf skills to the highest level while still prioritising their studies. This is important, as a solid academic foundation opens up many more opportunities, whether in college golf or in other career fields. The best part is that all of this happens right here in Vietnam – in an international learning environment where students are exposed to a variety of cultures and innovative educational methods without having to leave their home country.

You mentioned contributing to the development of the school. Can you share more about your role in the future?
I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to join SSM Vietnam, both in terms of operations and coaching. My goal is to support the development of junior golf and make a positive impact on young golfers by sharing my experience and expertise. This school is expected to mark a major step forward for the Vietnamese golf industry, providing young people with the best conditions to develop without having to go abroad.
Do you have any advice for young Vietnamese golfers considering studying at SSM Vietnam?
If you are serious about golf and your studies, this is the place for you. The combination of top golf education, academic excellence and an international environment will set you up for a bright future. I look forward to seeing SSM Vietnam change the future of golf in Vietnam!
