Russian Su-34 airstrikes near Kupyansk, Ukraine suffers losses

This was reported by Colonel Sergei Zybinsky in a statement published on June 23 on the sources of the Russian Ministry of Defense .

During the clashes in the designated area, Su-34 fighters deployed by the Zapad air force launched missiles and dropped bombs on the temporary base of the 36th separate rifle battalion in Kolodeznoye.

The statement also noted that in the Berestovoye area, the 1st Russian tank unit inflicted heavy damage on units of the 32nd separate brigade. In addition, a Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage group was also discovered and destroyed by mortar fire. According to Colonel Zybinsky, Ukrainian losses were high and one soldier was taken prisoner.

During the fighting in the Ivanovka village area, Russian troops destroyed the Msta-S self-propelled artillery mount and two Ukrainian mortars with 120mm Sani mortars.

On June 25, information about two Russian drones destroying a Ukrainian Caesar self-propelled gun was made public.

The images released show that the Caesar system dodged the first attack by the Russian drone but was thrown off course. However, it was then destroyed in a follow-up precision attack by another drone.

Caesar self-propelled guns have been in use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for over a year now, but they have rarely been destroyed. Those that have been destroyed have been mostly due to artillery fire, not drone strikes.

Previously, on June 23, the AVP website also reported on another precision attack by Russian drones. Accordingly, Ukraine's Grad system was destroyed by a Russian Lancet drone after a precision attack.

In the publicly released drone footage we can see that the Grad system deployed by the Ukrainian army was ready for combat but the Russian drone hit its target and destroyed it.
