Data collected from this system will also be used as a basis for handling fines for overloading violations. This is new information released by the Vietnam Road Administration.

The pilot operation of 2 automatic vehicle load control scales has brought about high efficiency in controlling overloaded vehicles on National Highway 5.

The rate of vehicles violating the overloading limit and being fined is only 0.12%, a decrease of more than 57 times compared to before.

The scales operate stably in all weather conditions, ensuring 100% monitoring of traffic. Furthermore, automatic control also prevents negative behaviors in handling overloaded vehicles.
