The Central Highlands countryside is an area with a large population and a high proportion of agricultural production; at the same time, it is also a region rich in natural identity and cultural values. At the same time, over the years, the new rural construction movement in the Central Highlands has also made an important contribution to preserving good values and improving the quality of life for the people. It can be said that the new rural area is one of the important driving forces for the development of rural tourism. The concentration of investment resources in rural areas with the criteria of increasingly perfecting and improving has helped the countryside better meet the requirements of tourism. Infrastructure is increasingly improved; houses and gardens are cared for; the living environment and agricultural production processes are increasingly perfected. Along with the rich natural landscape, the attractiveness of culture, diverse occupations; more civilized rural life, increasingly high intellectual standards along with the sincere, honest and friendly lifestyle of farmers are also factors that create attraction.

If rural tourism was previously little noticed, now, types of tourism such as agriculture, craft villages, culture, landscape, ecology... in the Central Highlands are attracting a significant number of tourists. Attracting tourists to visit the countryside and agricultural activities is a way for visitors to both buy and sell agricultural products, increase tourism products and at the same time satisfy the needs of entertainment, education and knowledge-enhancing activities for the experience.

Exploiting the potential of rural tourism not only increases farmers' income but also creates economic-cultural-humanitarian values. Most importantly, when rural tourism develops, each farmer will be a tour guide on his own land. With pride, they are the subjects who transform the landscape, lifestyle, and culture of their homeland, using their own stories and those of their community as tourism products. According to experts, in the coming time, to develop rural tourism in the Central Highlands sustainably, it is necessary to focus on building and promulgating specific regulations and standards for this type of tourism. At the same time, it is necessary to plan the development of rural tourism in a comprehensive, scientific manner and in accordance with the specific conditions of each locality, each region, and each destination. Continuing to invest in infrastructure, training human resources, and promoting typical tourism products are also important factors.

Rural tourism is an open form of tourism, taking the rural context and farmer culture as the product. Therefore, the Central Highlands provinces need to carefully survey the typical products of each locality to build tours and routes suitable to each customer's needs, avoiding similar tourism products leading to monotony and boredom. Each destination must rely on the natural resources and human resources of the locality to create unique tourism products that truly attract tourists.
