The strength of solidarity from the hamlet

With the contributions of the people, soldiers and philanthropists in the area, the road in Linh Huynh hamlet, Hon Dat commune was completed and put into use after 3 weeks of construction. The road was poured with concrete, 2.5m wide, 1.8km long, with a cost of 400 million VND. In addition to mobilizing philanthropists and businesses, the Linh Huynh hamlet Front Work Committee mobilized people and soldiers stationed in the area to contribute working days to the construction. The open, clean and beautiful concrete road put into use helps people trade more conveniently. Mr. Pham Thanh Hoang - Head of the Front Work Committee of Linh Huynh Hamlet shared: "We identify building the great national unity bloc as a key task and one of the decisive factors for the success of the movements. Therefore, during the operation process, we carry out publicity and democracy; at the same time, we implement the motto of perseverance, flexibility, and adaptability in propaganda, mobilization and mutual respect, creating consensus among members and the people".

From that experience, over the past 5 years, the Front Committee of Linh Huynh Hamlet and its member organizations have always paid attention to and implemented national target programs for new rural construction, especially mobilizing people to donate land for road construction, contribute funds and working days with the State to build and repair 3 bridges, and build 3 new roads of more than 2.5km long. At the same time, mobilizing to build 13 great solidarity houses; implementing the model "Lighting up the countryside roads"; giving notebooks and bicycles to poor students in the hamlet...

The Tri Ton Hamlet Front Committee, Hon Dat Commune strives to effectively implement movements and campaigns; strengthen the great national unity bloc; promote the role of social supervision and criticism; actively contribute to socio -economic development, maintain security and order in the locality. Head of the Tri Ton Hamlet Front Committee Bui Thi Mo said: "The Hamlet Front Committee promotes propaganda about the role, significance and importance of social security policies; actively mobilizes resources to support policy families, poor and near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances. We innovate ways of working, forms and methods, expand the scope and select the target audience: Enterprises, philanthropists inside and outside the commune, charitable and social organizations, especially promoting the role of religious organizations".

People, organizations and individuals inside and outside Tri Ton hamlet actively responded, supporting money and goods to help poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households stabilize their lives. Over the past 5 years, the hamlet's Front Committee has mobilized the construction of 6 new solidarity houses and mobilized people to contribute to widening Canal 1. The hamlet's Front Committee has paid attention to the work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents and caring for poor students, mobilizing thousands of notebooks and bicycles to support students. At the same time, it has supported poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households to borrow capital for production and business, with an amount of more than 6.5 billion VND, helping 12 households escape poverty. Every year, the hamlet's poverty rate decreases by an average of 1.5 - 2%; the number of well-off and wealthy households increases.

From good and creative ways of doing things, the Front working committees of hamlets in Hon Dat commune have promoted their roles and made efforts to effectively implement movements and campaigns, consolidate the great national unity bloc, contribute to effectively implementing campaigns and emulation movements, and promote all resources for local socio-economic development.
