The Board of Directors of Thoai Ngoc Hau High School stated that the review process for the 2026 High School Graduation Examination is being implemented vigorously, with students consolidating their knowledge as they learn. The school is determined to achieve the goal of 100% of its students passing the graduation exam.
From December 2025 to March 20, 2026, the school will organize online teaching and review sessions for students on various platforms. From March 30 to June 6, the school will intensify in-person review sessions with 2 lessons per subject per week for all combined subjects; the total number of lessons will be a maximum of 4 lessons per subject per week to help students consolidate their knowledge and skills before the exam. Mr. Tran Van Ten - Principal of Thoai Ngoc Hau High School shared: “Since the beginning of the second semester, the school and students have been accelerating the completion of the curriculum according to the 12th-grade textbooks. We review each topic thoroughly as we go. Checking students' knowledge combined with mock exams helps them feel more confident before the exam.”
Nguyen Cam Tien, a student in class 12A3, said: “I have finished studying the curriculum according to the textbooks and am currently in the intensive review phase for the subjects I registered for the high school graduation exam on the Ministry of Education and Training's system. In addition, I eat and rest properly to ensure my health for the exam.” Vo Hoang Tuyet Kieu, a student in class 12A4, shared: “Every day, I create a specific and scientific study plan, consolidating knowledge from basic to advanced levels. I aim to do well in the high school graduation exam, and then apply to university.”
According to Mr. Dinh Phuoc Trieu, a geography teacher, the school has instructed teachers to strictly adhere to the graduation exam preparation plan in the final stages with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring that students still come to school for review sessions right up to the exam date. "In the remaining weeks, teachers will continue to closely monitor each student, assessing their abilities to organize timely tutoring," Mr. Trieu said.
According to teacher Tran Van Ten, after 11 years, Thoai Ngoc Hau High School was selected by the Department of Education and Training as a testing center for the high school graduation exam. The testing center has 291 candidates, including 228 from Thoai Ngoc Hau High School, 58 from the Ha Tien Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center (cluster 3), and 5 independent candidates.
To ensure the exam runs smoothly, the school has arranged 13 examination rooms, 2 reserve rooms, and 1 waiting room. The examination and waiting areas are separated from residential areas and are protected by a fence. The examination rooms are equipped with desks, chairs, and facilities such as fans and whiteboard lights, and have roofs to ensure sufficient lighting and safety. In addition, the school has arranged a medical room, electricity, water, and fire safety systems in accordance with regulations.
The school has arranged an administrative area and two separate, securely locked cabinets to store exam papers and answer sheets, with a security camera system monitoring and recording activities continuously 24/7. Additionally, a contingency plan has been developed to address situations where rain or thunderstorms affect some examination rooms; the school will relocate candidates to Tan Khanh Hoa Secondary School as a secondary examination site.
Teacher Tran Van Ten said that before the exam, the school ensured the safety of the campus and the protective fence around the exam area; the classrooms and restrooms were thoroughly cleaned; and the equipment for the exam was carefully prepared. Each exam room was equipped with containers to store candidates' personal belongings and prohibited items.
For students who have to travel long distances to the examination site, the school proactively develops plans in coordination with local authorities to arrange transportation; and collaborates with parents in managing and supporting candidates. The school surveys and recommends suitable accommodation for invigilators and students from distant areas.
Thorough preparation of facilities at examination sites is a crucial step in ensuring that the 2026 High School Graduation Examination in the locality is organized safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, creating favorable conditions for candidates to participate in the exam.
