New life in Luc Hon

In this new spring, Luc Hon commune has donned a brighter appearance, brimming with vitality and confidence. Following the administrative merger, Luc Hon has undergone positive and comprehensive changes in many areas. The merger not only streamlined the administrative apparatus and improved the efficiency of state management, but also opened up new opportunities for development, creating a crucial impetus for officials, Party members, and the people to work together towards the goal of prosperity and happiness.

2025 is considered a year marking many outstanding achievements in the socio -economic development of Luc Hon commune. The total value of products in Luc Hon commune reached over 712 billion VND, an increase of 11.09% compared to the same period last year. This is clear evidence of the continuous efforts of the local Party committee and government in leadership and management, and also reflects the diligent and creative spirit of the people.

Convenient transportation is one of the important conditions for Luc Hon commune to develop in many fields.

Mr. Vi Tien Vuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Luc Hon Commune, said: "Immediately after the merger, we started streamlining the administrative apparatus to operate most effectively. Luc Hon also redefined key economic sectors to invest in efficiently, while creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to invest in various fields and expand tourism models. Therefore, in 2025, the total number of tourists visiting the commune is expected to reach 73,320, with tourism revenue estimated at over 11.2 billion VND."

Alongside economic development, poverty reduction and social security measures have been implemented comprehensively and effectively in Luc Hon commune. By the end of 2025, there will be no more poor or near-poor households in the commune according to the criteria of the Central Government and the province. Compared to the beginning of the year, the commune has reduced the number of poor households by 2 and near-poor households by 252. The average per capita income has reached 80 million VND/person/year.

The family of Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Xuan in Luc Na village is a prime example of successful household economic development. From a difficult background, thanks to boldly borrowing capital to plant over 100 apple and plum trees, their production model has now brought them a stable income. From the apple and plum trees, Ms. Xuan's family is now quite well-off, and their living conditions have improved significantly. This year, during the Lunar New Year of the Horse (2016), she expects to earn nearly 100 million VND from selling fruit and ornamental plum branches.

Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Xuan said: “With favorable conditions and encouragement from commune officials, my family plans to rent more land in 2026 to expand our apple and plum orchards. Besides that, the opening of many service models has led to good sales of these products, especially tourism. We hope that the authorities will create more favorable conditions for families like ours to develop economically and become wealthy right here in our homeland.”

Recognizing that people are the key factor for sustainable development, Luc Hon commune pays special attention to training and improving the quality of its human resources. In 2025, the locality created new jobs for 157 out of 164 workers, achieving 95.73% of the plan. The rate of trained workers reached 87.45%, of which 52.3% held degrees or certificates.

Luc Hon commune also identified administrative reform as a breakthrough to create a favorable environment for people and businesses to invest and work in the area. Therefore, in 2025, Luc Hon commune processed 1,564 applications, with an online application rate of 98%, a digitized input rate of 99.52%, and no overdue applications.

The Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 has arrived, opening up many new hopes and beliefs for Luc Hon commune. Building on the achievements already made, Luc Hon commune continues to set goals for comprehensive and sustainable development, so that each spring is a spring of prosperity, happiness, and confidence.
