In the Indonesian market, the hybrid version of the Suzuki XL7 is not much different from the internal combustion engine version currently being distributed.
At the front of the car, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2023 has a glossy black painted grille instead of the old chrome plating. The LED headlights on the car are also integrated with the Guide Me Home feature and automatic on/off sensor.
The 2023 XL Hybrid is equipped with a new set of 16-inch rims painted in glossy black, making the car look sportier and more individual. Some other details on the car are also painted black such as: rearview mirrors, roof, wheel rim covers...
In addition, on the rear trunk door there is also a hybrid logo as an identifying feature to distinguish the regular version and the hybrid version.
In terms of interior, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2023 has a spacious, comfortable interior with 3 rows of seats. In this hybrid version, the car has an additional gray and black interior color, plus new wood paneling details on the dashboard.
In Beta and Alpha versions, Suzuki XL7 will be upgraded with cruise control and new digital rearview mirror integrated with touch.
Powering the Suzuki XL7 2023 Beta and Alpha versions is a lightweight Mild-Hybrid engine, similar to the one equipped on the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid model launched in Vietnam in September 2022. This powertrain includes a 1.5L, 4-cylinder gasoline engine, combined with a 10 Ah 12V lithium-ion battery and an integrated starter generator (ISG). Thanks to that, the engine power of this MPV model increases slightly to 105 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque reaches 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
The standard Zeta version still uses the same 1.5L gasoline engine. Regardless of the version, the car is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
According to information from the sales consultant, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2023 in Indonesia will have a price range from 283.9 - 304.9 million Rupiah (about 448 - 481 million VND).
It is expected that after its launch in the "land of thousands of islands", the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2023 will continue to "enter the market" in other markets, possibly Vietnam. The Suzuki XL7 is being distributed in Vietnam with 2 versions, with prices ranging from 599 - 639 million VND. Currently, in the MPV segment in Vietnam, only the Suzuki Ertiga uses hybrid technology.
