This was the first "double bagel" victory (winning both sets 6–0) in a Wimbledon final since 1911 and only the second time it has happened in the Open Era.

This victory helped Swiatek win her first Wimbledon title and increase her total Grand Slam titles to 6. The 24-year-old tennis player also became a rare female athlete in history to win a Grand Slam on all three surfaces (clay, hard, grass), and the first Pole to win the women's singles title at Wimbledon in the Open Era.

As for Amanda Anisimova, although this was her first Grand Slam final, she had an impressive run at Wimbledon this year, especially her thrilling victory over No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka in the semi-finals. However, in the final match, she was completely overwhelmed by Swiatek's top form.

With smart movement, sharp tactics and stability at every point on the court, Swiatek gave her opponent almost no chance. Anisimova made 28 unforced errors and did not have a single break point. Despite the heavy loss, reaching the final also helped Anisimova enter the world top 10 for the first time (currently ranked 7th on the WTA).
