Can Tho: Heavy rain causes difficulties for candidates before Math exam
At around 12 noon on June 26, a heavy rain occurred in Soc Trang province that lasted for more than 13 hours. The rain caused many roads to be flooded, making it difficult for candidates to travel on the exam day.

Bac Lieu: Traffic police support candidates
While on patrol duty on Highway 1, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Tuong, Deputy Captain of the Traffic Police Department, Bac Lieu Provincial Police, received information from Examination Council No. 02 (located at Bac Lieu High School, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province), that a candidate was not present.

Upon receiving the information, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Tuong asked for the commander's opinion and quickly drove a special car to the TTH candidate's house on Bach Dang Street, Nha Mat Ward, Bac Lieu City to help take the candidate to the exam location in time.
When the support team arrived, candidate H was resting in the room, calling the door many times but it did not open, so they asked the local police to break down the door, call the candidate to get in the car to change clothes, and take him to the exam location, ensuring safety and on time according to regulations.
It is known that candidate H was home alone, stayed up late studying for the exam and fell asleep. He had set an alarm but it was on vibrate mode, so he didn't know.
Also in the early morning of June 26, the Mobile Patrol Team promptly assisted a candidate to return home to get his Citizen Identification Card and safely go to the exam site at Le Thi Cam Le Secondary School (Ward 1, Bac Lieu City).
Another candidate on his way to the exam site located at Bac Lieu High School (Ward 1, Bac Lieu City) did not know the exam location, but was fortunately guided to the exam site by a special mobile patrol team on a motorbike. (Tan Loc)
After completing the Literature exam this morning, candidates will continue to take the Math exam. These are two compulsory subjects in this year's exam.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, nationwide, nearly 1.17 million candidates registered to take the exam, of which more than 1.15 million candidates took the Math exam for both the 2018 and 2006 general education programs.

Based on the sample exam structure of the Ministry of Education and Training, it can be seen that this year is the first year that 12th grade students take the exam according to the new general education program. The structure and format of the exam have changed differently compared to previous years.
For Mathematics, the exam is divided into three distinct parts. Part one consists of 12 multiple-choice questions. This is a familiar multiple-choice question format, requiring candidates to choose one correct answer.
The second part consists of 4 multiple choice questions, each worth 1 point. This is a challenging and even harsh part for students because each question has 4 points. If a student answers 1 point correctly, they will only get 0.1 point, if they answer 2 points correctly, they will get 0.25 points, if they answer 3 points correctly, they will get 0.5 points, and if they answer all 4 points, they will get 1 point.
Finally, the third part consists of 6 short answer questions, requiring candidates to figure out the answer themselves.
