On June 5, 2025, in Hanoi, T&T Group held an award ceremony for coaches and athletes with outstanding achievements at the 43rd National Table Tennis Championship of Nhan Dan Newspaper in 2025. This is an important event, not only recognizing the efforts and dedication of coaches and athletes, but also demonstrating the care and companionship of the Group's leaders in the journey of developing high-performance sports, contributing to spreading the spirit of professional competition, bravery and desire to win.
At the recent tournament, the players of the CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club won 3 gold medals (men's doubles, men's singles, men's team) and 3 bronze medals (mixed doubles, men's doubles, women's singles). Dinh Anh Hoang became the new men's singles champion, ending the dominance of Hanoi and Hai Duong. He and Le Dinh Duc also successfully defended the men's doubles championship for the 6th consecutive year. In the men's team event, CAND-T&T excellently defeated the Hanoi team 3-0 in the final, reclaiming the championship lost last year. Player Le Dinh Duc also made a miracle when he defeated the reigning champion Nguyen Anh Tu in the men's team final, bringing a decisive advantage to the home team.
The success at the 2025 Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship has continued to extend the impressive series of achievements that the CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club has continuously achieved in recent times, and is a vivid proof of the "sweet fruit" from the combination between the People's Public Security Sports and T&T Group as well as the thorough investment in training and improving the professional qualifications of athletes.
According to Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, the cooperation between T&T Group and the Police Sports Association is a testament to the effective cooperation model between public and private resources - joining hands to create a truly and sustainably developed sports industry. It is not only financial support, but also a shared vision, together building a professional training environment to discover, nurture and develop talent.
“In the journey ahead, T&T Group also commits to continue to closely accompany the Police Sports Association, not only investing in material resources but also in spirit, so that we can continue to build a professional training environment, to create the best conditions for athletes to develop their talents, conquering further and higher goals in the future,” Mr. Do Vinh Quang emphasized.
At the ceremony, Mr. Do Quang Hien, Founder and Executive Chairman of T&T Group, also shared memories throughout the journey since the establishment of T&T Table Tennis Club, to the cooperation with the CAND Sports Association and the results achieved today. The boss of Vietnamese sports who talks less, does more also thanked the CAND Sports Association and the CAND Training and Competition Center for helping and creating favorable conditions for the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club to achieve this proud achievement.
Commenting that “High-performance sports are difficult to achieve, but even more difficult to maintain”, Mr. Hien believes and hopes that the whole team will continue to preserve, promote and be more determined. “We continue to conquer the peak, achieve more achievements, not only in domestic tournaments but also towards the region and Asia. You must always aspire and dedicate. This glory is not only for individuals, glory is also the shirt we are wearing, and by extension, the spirit of pride of the Vietnamese people” , Mr. Do Quang Hien emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs (Ministry of Public Security), Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association congratulated the excellent achievements of the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club. At the same time, Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh also expressed her gratitude to the Board of Directors of T&T Group and Mr. Do Quang Hien personally for accompanying and creating conditions for coaches and athletes to come under the same roof of CAND - T&T, to practice and compete in the best environment to achieve outstanding results.
Before the tournament, T&T Group Executive Chairman Do Quang Hien decided to invest in training for athletes in China, thanks to which, many players of the CAND – T&T Table Tennis Club have made a clear breakthrough. Typically, Dinh Anh Hoang has really “transformed” strongly in his playing style, confidently attacking and being more persistent than before. The 4-1 victory over Nguyen Anh Tu in the recent national men's singles final - a match in which Anh Hoang completely dominated the game with fast, powerful attacks with both hands - is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of international competition.
The CAND – T&T Table Tennis Club was officially established in May 2024, after the Ministry of Public Security (CAND Sports Association) signed a memorandum of understanding with T&T Group. This is the first time in history that a private enterprise has joined hands with the Public Security sports sector to jointly develop a key sport. Immediately after that, the CAND – T&T Table Tennis Club participated in the 2024 National Table Tennis Championship in Nha Trang and far exceeded the set target with 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals.
Not stopping there, at the 2024 National Youth, Adolescent and Children's Table Tennis Tournament held in Da Nang, the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club excellently won the overall first place with 13 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. Before entering the tournament, the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club only set a goal of winning 8 gold medals, meaning the achievement was 5 more gold medals.
T&T Group and Mr. Hien have also shown their interest and strong commitment to invest in Vietnamese table tennis in general and the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club in particular. After the 32nd SEA Games, where Vietnam won the historic gold medal in the mixed doubles table tennis event, T&T Group awarded a "hot" bonus of 1.15 billion VND to the Vietnamese table tennis team, including two heroes Dinh Anh Hoang - Tran Mai Ngoc. Next, T&T and the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to honor the CAND - T&T Club, awarding a record bonus of 1.5 billion VND to coach Vu Manh Cuong and his team for their achievements in the 2024 National Championship - an unprecedented bonus in the history of Vietnamese table tennis. At this award ceremony, the coaches and athletes of the CAND - T&T Table Tennis Club continued to receive bonuses totaling 1.26 billion VND. This shows the timely recognition from the leaders of T&T Group, demonstrating the interest and strong commitment to investment from Mr. Hien.
The impressive achievements that the CAND – T&T Table Tennis Club has achieved over the past year have become the perfect “launching pad” for an acceleration to conquer the highest peaks of Vietnamese table tennis, gradually reaching out to the region, continent and the world.
