Author Nguyen Thi Nhu Ngoc won first prize in the campaign 'Voters give advice on building Long An homeland'

On May 21, the Provincial People's Council organized the summary and award ceremony of the first "Voters give advice on building Long An homeland" campaign.

Attending the closing ceremony were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu.

According to the assessment of the Provincial People's Council, the first Campaign "Voters give advice on building Long An homeland" was launched in 2023. Although it was the first year of organization, the Campaign received the participation of a large number of voters and people inside and outside the province.

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to author Nguyen Thi Nhu Ngoc.

During the implementation period, the Organizing Committee received 128 suggestions from 108 authors. The content of the suggestions was diverse in many fields, expressing many ideas, enthusiasm, responsibility, and feelings of the participants for the construction and development of Long An homeland.

Through the selection, the Jury, Organizing Committee, and Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council considered comprehensively, impartially, and objectively to select 10 typical suggestions from 10 authors, meeting the conditions and criteria of the Campaign to proceed with ranking and awarding prizes.

The Organizing Committee took souvenir photos with the winning authors.

The Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes to the authors. With the proposal "Building a system to monitor, report and evaluate the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations", author Nguyen Thi Nhu Ngoc was awarded the first prize; with the proposal "Solutions to build Long An homeland in the field of investment", author Nguyen Van Phuc was selected to receive the second prize of the Campaign.

The Organizing Committee presented flowers to thank the Jury and members of the Subcommittees for their suggestions.

At the closing and award ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc praised and acknowledged the enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of 108 authors who supported and actively sent 128 suggestions to participate in the Campaign.

Provincial Party Secretary and Provincial People's Council Chairman Nguyen Van Duoc spoke at the closing ceremony of the Campaign.

He also hopes that the award-winning authors will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to perfect and develop the ideas and solutions stated in the proposal for effective implementation, making practical contributions to the socio-economic development tasks of the province.

The Provincial People's Council and the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education signed a cooperation agreement to implement the Campaign "Voters give advice on building Long An homeland"

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee officially launched and called on voters and people of all walks of life to actively participate in and respond to the Campaign "Voters give advice on building Long An homeland", for the second time in 2024./.
