On the afternoon of May 9, at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department presented certificates of merit to musician Nguyen Van Chung and singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh for spreading patriotism through the song "Writing the continuation of the story of peace" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Recently, the song " Writing the next story of peace" composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung and performed by singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh has received much attention from young people.

Especially in the recent 50th anniversary celebration of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, this song was chosen to be performed in the program by singers Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung, helping the song spread further.

Musician Nguyen Van Chung said a few days ago the song reached a total of 3.1 billion views on social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Short, Facebook, and Instagram.

At the meeting, Nguyen Van Chung shared his inspiration for composing songs from trips to the source, visiting unknown soldiers at the martyrs' cemetery and stories told by veterans.

"As a musician, I convey historical messages and the value of peace so that listeners can feel gratitude and live with purpose.

The song's success is thanks to singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh who is not afraid of the sun or hardship, singing on any stage, singing at 12 noon in military barracks, singing on a stage without lights in a cultural house in a remote area" - Nguyen Van Chung shared.

On this occasion, Nguyen Van Chung thanked singers Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung for their contribution to spreading the song. He burst into tears when mentioning that tomorrow is the first anniversary of his mother's death and wanted to show off this achievement to his mother.

Nguyen Duyen Quynh said she was lucky to meet musician Nguyen Van Chung on a charity trip and connected to make the album Continue the story of peace .

Musician Nguyen Van Chung said he will donate the revenue from the song " Writing the next story of peace" on digital platforms in April to veterans.

Singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh also wants to donate part of the revenue from this song in April to soldiers on duty in Truong Sa on the occasion of her visit there in the next few days.

Chung will write songs to pay tribute to the forces in the army. In the near future, Chung will release the song "Sea, Earth and Sky" dedicated to the People's Army; the song "Swear for Peace" for the People's Police force.

Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Nguyen Dang Khoa emphasized that the song title "Writing the story of peace" is used as the theme for the activities and programs of the Youth Union.
