The genres on display range from hand-drawn paintings, paintings combining a variety of materials, to models, showing the flexibility and richness in the way children approach art.
Besides the works of young students, the portfolios of former students preparing for their study abroad journey are a testament to their serious and professional artistic development path right from their school days.
Talk Show: Art Education from Many Dimensions
The highlight of the exhibition is the Talk Show with the theme “How far have we learned about art education?”, taking place on the morning of May 18. The event brought together leading experts such as painter Nguyen Tuan Dung, lecturer at Vietnam University of Fine Arts Vu Dinh Tuan, Ms. Duong Thu Hang - Founder of Hanoistudio Gallery, Ms. Jung In Young - Director of Greensum Hanoi Academy of Fine Arts.
Here, the speakers gave insightful perspectives on the role of fine arts in modern education, and changes in parents' and society's thinking towards this field of study.
A notable point was the live sharing from Greensum Hanoi alumni, who are currently and will be studying at SAIC, Lasalle, RISD, PARSONS, Illinois Tech. Stories about the learning process, building portfolios, preparing study abroad documents and overcoming the pressure of entrance exams strongly inspired many parents and students present at the event.
When art is no longer a “secondary” option
For many years, art education has not been recognized as important, largely due to concerns about stability and future career possibilities. However, this exhibition and Talk Show is an affirmation that art is not only a career path but also a way to nurture the thinking, emotions and personality of each individual.
One parent who attended shared: “After listening to the alumni talk, I realized I needed to change my way of thinking. Studying art is not simply about drawing beautifully, but a journey to train creative thinking and responsibility for passion.”
Multi-sensory art experience space
In addition to the display and exchange areas, the exhibition also organizes many art experience activities such as marbling watermarking workshops and coding programming. The workshop area is always bustling with the excitement of children and parents who are holding a brush for the first time.

In particular, a 1:1 personal consultation corner has also been carefully prepared by the organizers, with a team of teachers and experts from Greensum. Here, visitors can receive detailed advice on a systematic art learning path, choose a class suitable for their age, or build a strategy for exam preparation and scholarship hunting for majors such as graphic design, architecture, animation, etc.
Although the exhibition officially closed on May 20, the echoes that the program left behind will last long. It is the change in perception of fine arts. It is the belief of parents when witnessing their children grow up through each painting. And it is also a strong encouragement for young children who are just starting to have a passion, now having more motivation to start their own artistic journey.
