At this time, along Phan Chau Trinh, Tran Cao Van, and Hung Vuong streets (Tam Ky City), many shops have displayed Christmas decorations such as Christmas trees, wreaths, snowmen, Santa Claus figures, reindeer, etc. Christmas gifts come in a variety of types, colors, sizes, and designs for customers to choose from. Accessories for decorating Christmas trees are also abundant and reasonably priced, ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of dong.

Having been selling Christmas-related products for over a month, Ms. Hoang Thi Nguyen Anh (owner of Subeo store, Tam Ky City) said: “Due to the difficult economic situation and frequent rain, customers are coming in sporadically, not as enthusiastic as in previous years. Mostly young people are buying decorations for crafts or designing Christmas trees for their shops and companies.”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai (owner of Khanh Mai store) shared: “Instead of the usual yellow tones, this year's Christmas decoration trend is red. Customers are buying many accessories such as lights, beads, tinsel, velour, ribbons… to decorate miniature scenes. Following that trend, my store has also imported many diverse components and items. But even at the end of the season, sales are still quite slow.”

To make it convenient for customers to shop for Christmas products and services, stores have prepared combo packages of Christmas ornaments, pine cones, wreaths, etc., ranging from 60,000 to 300,000 VND per package; decorative garlands from 10,000 to 100,000 VND per package; and Santa Claus costumes and hats from 20,000 to 300,000 VND per set...

Overall, the prices of Christmas decorations this year haven't changed much compared to last year. To stimulate consumer demand, some retailers have implemented attractive promotions and discounts.

Buying lights, bells, and ribbons to decorate the Christmas tree for her coffee shop, Ms. Huynh Thi Hang Nga (Hoa Thuan Ward, Tam Ky City) said: “We bought Christmas decorations online a week ago. Now we're missing some accessories, so we came to the store to buy more. Buying online offers a wider variety of designs, and the prices are a little cheaper. But the price difference isn't that big; buying directly might get you a discount, and you can see and choose the materials you like better.”
