'Letter' from the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Province to the people on the historic day

On July 1, Khanh Hoa province officially entered a new chapter in history when it merged with Ninh Thuan to form the new Khanh Hoa province, marking an important turning point in the country's administrative restructuring.

On this historic day, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam sent a "letter of the heart" to all cadres, civil servants, public employees, people and business community in the area, expressing deep understanding of people's worries and concerns about this major change.

Commitment to protect rights during the transition process

"I understand that any major change will come with certain concerns and worries, and there will certainly be difficulties and unfamiliarity during the transition period," Mr. Nam shared in the appeal letter.

Khanh Hoa province's leaders have made specific and practical commitments. "We pledge to do our utmost to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of every citizen, cadre, civil servant, public employee and enterprise throughout the transition process," Mr. Nam affirmed.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee pledged to implement timely and practical support policies to help people quickly stabilize their lives and jobs. The provincial government will also "increase information and dialogue to listen and answer all questions and concerns of citizens in a public and transparent manner".

In particular, the rearrangement of this administrative unit is not simply a change in administrative geography. According to Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, the merger "not only helps to streamline the administrative apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, but more importantly, it will open up a new vision, a great opportunity" to build Khanh Hoa province "more prosperous, civilized and modern".

"This great goal cannot be achieved without the joint efforts and unanimity of all the people in the province," the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized in his letter. He called on every citizen, every official, and every enterprise to promote "patriotic tradition and sense of responsibility" and engage in the work of creating the future.

This merger is expected to create a positive effect in resource mobilization, investment attraction and economic development. With its prime geographical location, sea tourism potential and rich natural resources from both old localities, the new Khanh Hoa province promises to become one of the important growth engines of the South Central region.

In the context that many localities across the country are also implementing administrative restructuring, the experience from Khanh Hoa is considered to have important reference significance.
