Tan Dinh: Two brave residents rescue a child from drowning.

BAC NINH - On the afternoon of February 7th, a student in Tan Dinh commune (Bac Ninh province) slipped and fell into a canal while on their way home from school. Upon discovering the child in distress, two nearby residents bravely jumped into the water and rescued the child.

At approximately 11:00 AM on February 7th, LHHN (born in 2013), while on her way home from school, unfortunately slipped and fell into the canal while crossing a bridge in Tan Lap village, Tan Dinh commune, and was swept downstream by the current.

N's mother sent a letter of thanks to the two citizens who rescued her child, at the Tan Dinh Commune Police Station.

Fortunately, at that moment, Mr. Luong Minh Tu and Mr. Nguyen Cong Long, who were fishing near the bridge, noticed the incident in time. Without hesitation, despite the danger, the two men bravely jumped into the fast-flowing water, quickly reached the child, and brought her safely to shore. Immediately afterward, they administered initial first aid and contacted the family to take the child to a medical facility for examination and care.

Thanks to the timely and appropriate intervention of the two men, N's health is now stable and gradually recovering. Deeply moved by this noble act, N's mother sent a heartfelt thank-you letter to Mr. Luong Minh Tu and Mr. Nguyen Cong Long for saving her child's life in a critical situation.

The courageous, responsible, and compassionate actions of Luong Minh Tu and Nguyen Cong Long are a shining example of "good people, good deeds," clearly demonstrating the tradition of solidarity, loyalty, and readiness to help others in times of trouble.
