Honoring the brave student who saved someone from drowning.

GĐXH - Upon spotting two young children being swept away from the shore by large waves, Vũ, undeterred by the danger, quickly swam into the area with strong currents and managed to reach them both safely and bring them back to shore.

On the afternoon of May 25th, acting on behalf of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Chairman of the Provincial Children's Council of Ha Tinh, Nguyen Viet Hai Dang, presented the "Brave Youth" badge and a certificate of merit to Chu Van Tuan Vu (a 9th-grade student at Cam Duong Secondary School, Yen Hoa commune, Ha Tinh province) for his courageous act of saving a person from drowning.

Representatives of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union presented a certificate of commendation to Chu Van Tuan Vu.

Earlier, at around 5:30 PM on May 15th, while swimming at Rang Dong beach (Yen Hoa commune), Vu noticed two young children being swept away by large waves, their lives in danger. Vu quickly swam into the strong current, reached them, and brought both children safely back to shore.

The "Brave Young Person" badge was awarded to Vu.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union praised Chu Van Tuan Vu's courageous act of saving a life as a shining example of community spirit. This action not only contributes to spreading the spirit of living a beautiful life among the younger generation.

The timely recognition of Vu also aims to spread positive energy and educate students about responsibility and compassion.
