Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Huynh Ngoc Duong said that there are currently more than 100 exporting enterprises in the province. Regarding coffee products, in the 2021-2022 crop year, Dak Lak province exported 394,942 tons, an increase of 49,726 tons compared to the 2020-2021 crop year (accounting for 23% of the country); export turnover reached more than 819 million USD. In general, coffee exports are mainly green coffee; while instant coffee and other processed coffee products such as roasted coffee, ground coffee, etc. have not been exported much.

Therefore, the contents discussed at the workshop will create a premise to build an ecosystem to effectively utilize FTAs, create connections between relevant entities to improve competitiveness, and move towards building the province's own brand, meeting the standards of importers, especially the increasingly growing requirements for sustainable development.
