Being present at the project to expand and upgrade provincial road 534D (the road connecting Tan An intersection to the inner communes: Huong Son, Phu Son and Nghia Hanh) on a day in mid-August shows that the contractor mobilized maximum means, machinery and human resources to implement the project in the most urgent manner.
Observations show that the entire route has been widened, some slopes have been lowered, many sections of the road have been filled with crushed stone, flattened... the reinforced concrete bridges and culverts are gradually being completed.

The people of Huong Son commune hope that not only will the road be upgraded but the national power grid will also be replaced, so that people can feel more secure when the rainy season comes and the quality of electricity will be improved. The people's biggest wish is that the road will be completed soon so that people can travel conveniently, have conditions to develop the economy , and their children can go to school with less difficulty.
Tan Ky District Project Management Board said that with the consensus and voluntary donation of land by people living on both sides of the road, the site clearance work was smooth right from the start of the project. After more than 8 months of construction, the project has disbursed 45 billion VND, and is expected to disburse 50 billion VND by the end of 2023.

To date, the contractor has laid out 18/18 km of the route; at the same time, the works on the route are also being urgently deployed. It is expected that by the beginning of the next rainy season, 7/7 reinforced concrete bridges and 16 culverts across the road will be basically completed, and the replacement of the national power grid will also be completed before the rainy season. Strive to have 5 km of the innermost road paved by the end of 2023.
The project to expand and upgrade Road 534D was approved by the State with a total investment of more than 148 billion VND, implemented in 3 years, expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

Mr. Phan Van Giap - Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee said: Route 534D (Huong - Phu - Hanh road) is the most difficult main road in the district, because after many years of not being invested in upgrading, the road is narrow... vehicles participating in traffic face many difficulties, especially vehicles transporting raw materials in and out of the area. Therefore, when the State invests in upgrading and expanding this route, the district focuses on directing relevant departments and offices to coordinate with contractors to speed up the construction progress, in order to disburse capital on schedule. In particular, before the flood season, the construction unit is speeding up the progress of works on the route, such as bridges, culverts... to limit the damage caused by floods.
"After completing this route, Tan Ky district will basically solve the traffic difficulties, creating conditions for people in the communes of Huong Son, Phu Son, Nghia Hanh and Tan An to exploit the potential and develop the agricultural and forestry economy," said Mr. Phan Van Giap.
