According to Decision No. 1431/QD-CTN signed byPresident Vo Van Thuong on November 28, 42 individuals were awarded the title of People's Artist in the second batch.
People's Artist Tan Minh is one of 42 individuals with outstanding achievements in this round of conferring the title of People's Artist. Meanwhile, his wife, Meritorious Artist Thu Huyen - Deputy Director of Hanoi Cheo Theater, is also on the list of 77 artists awarded the title of People's Artist according to Decision 724/QD-CTN signed by the President on June 22.
Meritorious Artist Tan Minh's full name is Huynh Tan Minh, currently the Director of Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, Hanoi city.
Tan Minh graduated from the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and then joined the Thang Long Music and Dance Theater.
The male artist is loved for his sweet, warm voice. His name is associated with songs such as: First Love Letter, Phuong Hong, First Love, You and I ... In 1998, he won the Asian Golden Voice Award. In 2015, Tan Minh became the Director of Thang Long Music and Dance Theater.
Both Tan Minh and his wife Thu Huyen were considered for the 10th People's Artist title.
In 2004, he married artist Thu Huyen. After 19 years of marriage, they have two sons, Minh Nam (born in 2005) and Minh Khoi (born in 2010).
Recently, artist Thu Huyen posted a photo of a happy family of four with a meaningful caption: “There are moments that will completely change your life. There are things that seem like yesterday but have been 19 years. 19 years is quite a long time, I just feel ‘okay’.”
