People's Artist Tu Long (full name: Vu Tu Long) was born in 1973. Originally a cheo artist, artist Tu Long has long been associated with the cheo troupe of the General Department of Politics under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.

The male artist was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2012. On September 15, 2014, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Army Cheo Theater. In 2015, Tu Long was awarded the title of People's Artist.
