While burning incense for Mr. Nguyen, Mr. Nguyen Van Tong, 61 years old, living in Dong Thap province, came to the hammock camp in front of the Memorial Temple for Heroes, Martyrs and People with Merits of the Province in the Northwest Sea Reclamation Urban Area, Rach Gia Ward to rest. Mr. Tong said: "The long journey is very tiring, there is nothing better than having a hammock to rest. This festival is truly from the people's hearts, whoever comes feels familiar as if they are returning to the death anniversary of their grandparents." The hammock camp where Mr. Tong and people from all over are resting was just built by Mr. Danh Viet Thang - owner of the Sponge Beach - Liu Riu restaurant, Rach Gia Ward, and more than 20 workers. The number of hammocks arranged at the camp is 1,000. "With the motto of one hammock - a thousand hearts, I just hope to contribute a little effort to the death anniversary of Mr. Nguyen so that people from far away can have a place to lie down and rest," Mr. Thang said.

The festival atmosphere was even more bustling when the Ly Gia Duong lion and dragon dance team in Tan An commune, led by Ly Thanh Dien, performed for free for the people. The resounding sound of the lion drums mixed with the singing and laughter of the people, creating a lively yet sacred atmosphere, full of love. "Every year we come to Ong Nguyen temple to join in the fun, hoping that the festival will be more rich and imbued with traditional culture," said Dien.

The festival part of the 157th anniversary of the death of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc was held from October 1 to 25 with many diverse activities.
