Implementing the plans of the Provincial People's Committee on coordinating the organization of the Traditional Festival commemorating the 157th anniversary of the sacrifice of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc (1868 - 2025) and ensuring security and order during the festival, the Festival Security, Order and Health Subcommittee coordinated with the People's Committee of Rach Gia Ward, and relevant provincial departments and branches to deploy plans and measures to protect, secure, order, traffic safety, prevent and fight fires and explosions before, during and after the festival; prepare conditions and means to respond promptly when situations arise. At the same time, strengthen inspection of cultural activities and cultural services; prevent and handle superstitious acts, and disseminate depraved and reactionary cultural products.

This is a major festival of the province that attracts people from all over to the locality. Aware of this responsibility, Rach Gia Ward Police coordinated with provincial departments and branches to develop a plan, with plans to ensure security and order. Hundreds of officers and soldiers work to maintain security, order, and ensure traffic safety, divided into many teams and checkpoints to ensure 24/7 duty during the festival; arrange traffic police to patrol, control and stand guard at key routes and areas where cultural and culinary activities take place, ensuring smooth traffic on all routes.

In addition, the on-duty officers also closely monitor and supervise the routes through the camera system to ensure order and traffic safety and promptly detect and prevent crimes from taking advantage of their activities. Chairman of the People's Committee of Rach Gia Ward Bui Trung Thuc requested the officers and soldiers of the Ward Police to always uphold their sense of responsibility in performing their duties and coordinate closely with relevant units to implement the plan. Synchronously use professional measures to prevent, combat, and stop the activities of all types of criminals; strengthen 24/24-hour patrols to promptly detect, prevent, and handle violations of the law.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to coordinate with the Provincial Police and the People's Committee of Rach Gia Ward to strengthen inspection of cultural activities and cultural services; prevent and handle superstitious acts, dissemination of depraved and reactionary cultural products in order to proactively fight, promptly detect and prevent manifestations, neutralize anti- and sabotage activities of hostile forces and subjects taking advantage of the situation to cause disorder; ensure safety in fire prevention and fighting, traffic safety in the area; ensure medical work, emergency food hygiene and safety, prevent acts of taking advantage of superstition... in the festival area.

To ensure absolute safety in all aspects of work during the festival, Colonel Dao Hai Dang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Festival Security, Order and Health Subcommittee, requested relevant levels, forces and units participating in the festival activities to coordinate closely and synchronously implement the contents of the plan and scheme. In particular, strictly manage the origin of food, food safety and hygiene; plan to manage subjects from other places who come to gather to beg, take advantage of profiteering or steal, pickpocket... ensure good fire prevention and fighting safety, regularly check and arrange forces to be ready to respond to all situations; strictly check accommodation facilities to ensure security and order.
