4 veteran People's Artists sang together for the first time in the program Tet Van Loc 2024

As usual, the 2025 Tet Van Loc festival brings together renowned singers from both Vietnam and abroad, offering audiences artistic performances rich in national identity and brimming with love for their homeland. General director Nguyen Cong Vuong shared about this year's theme: “We always focus on choosing themes that are appropriate to the social context and artistic activities in the country. This year's theme, 'Songs Dedicated to Life,' is special with the participation of singers associated with the war years and whose voices still resonate today, as a sacred part of the nation's soul. In addition, young singers also bring lyrical songs full of nostalgia.”

The program is divided into three parts: "Going Through the Years," "A Time to Remember," and "Late Spring."

This year, the audience enjoyed spectacular performances imbued with the essence of Vietnamese culture. Professor, record holder, and artist Chu Bao Que, along with the Dong Thoi Gian group, performed the ancient Quan Ho folk song "Cha," while People's Artist Thuy Huong and artist Thuy Hang, Head of the UNESCO Vietnam Art Troupe, brought a joyful and happy atmosphere with the melody "Thuyen mo lai cheo."

One of the highlights of the 2025 Tet Van Loc festival was the appearance of four veteran artists: People's Artist Trung Duc, People's Artist Quang Tho, People's Artist Thu Hien, and People's Artist Thanh Hoa. The artists joined voices in the song " Quang Binh, My Homeland," creating an impressive and heartwarming performance.

An essential part of the program is the comedic skit, which brings joy and emotion to the audience. In particular, director Nguyen Cong Vuong wrote and directed the comedy "Spring in a Foreign Land," about those who are far from home during Tet (Lunar New Year). "As Tet approaches, we all feel the longing for home and the desire to return to reunite with our families. However, not everyone can go home for Tet. This play is the voice of those who are far from home," director Nguyen Cong Vuong shared.

The play features artists such as Mr. Vuong Rau, Meritorious Artist Thanh Binh, Thanh Tu, and Hiep Vit. In addition, another comedic skit titled "Kindness from the Heart" is also performed, featuring Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, Meritorious Artist Quang Teo, Bao Chung, Chien Thang, Xuan Nghia, and Van Anh, aiming to convey a message about love and social responsibility within the community.

The program also features many famous singers such as Ngoc Son, Bach Cong Khanh, Bao Chung, Dieu Tham, Truong Vu, Mai Quoc Huy, Yen Ngoc, My Hanh, Trong Hai, Vu Ha, Truong Sang, Le Anh, Le Trang… creating a diverse and emotional artistic space.
