On December 11th, Mr. Luong Van Sinh, Principal of Thanh Hoa Vocational School of Commerce and Tourism (located in Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province), stated that the school is cooperating with the local police to investigate the case of a 10th-grade female student who was assaulted by a group of classmates in the classroom.
A few days ago (December 9th), due to a conflict, NTYN (born in 2010, a 10th-grade student at Thanh Hoa Vocational School of Commerce and Tourism) was assaulted by a group of classmates.

The incident was recorded by several students and posted on social media. In the clip, when N. was being "ganged up on" by her classmates, the female student sat down, covering her head and enduring the beating. There were many other students in the classroom, but no one intervened.
Ms. Pham Thi Th. (from Nam Sam Son ward, mother of student N.) said that her daughter had told her she had been attacked by classmates many times both in and outside of class. After the incident, the family reported it to the local authorities and took N. to a medical facility for examination. Currently, the student who was assaulted by her classmates is still in a state of fear and panic.
The leadership of Thanh Hoa Vocational School of Commerce and Tourism stated that, following the incident, the school's disciplinary committee invited the parents of the students involved to a meeting to address the issue. At the same time, the school requested that the relatives of the female students apologize to N.'s family and take responsibility for N.'s medical expenses.
The police have now become involved to handle the children according to regulations. The school will take measures to discipline all students to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
