TPO - The first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025, launching in Ho Chi Minh City, is not simply a matter of Tien Phong newspaper choosing a venue, but rather a message about its vision and aspiration to expand the Tien Phong sports brand to the most vibrant running scene in the country.

The Tien Phong Half Marathon fully inherits the extensive organizational experience and pioneering spirit of the Tien Phong National Marathon and Long Distance Championship, which has a 66-year history.

With the theme "Green Journey - Giving Trust, Receiving Happiness," the first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025 is a journey to spread a positive spirit, awaken awareness of environmental preservation, create a healthy lifestyle, and thereby contribute to honoring the image of Ho Chi Minh City as dynamic, friendly, modern, and full of vitality.

The Tien Phong Half Marathon features three distances: 21.1km, 10km, and 5km, for both men and women. The 21.1km distance is divided into five age groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above, providing an opportunity for runners of all ages to challenge themselves. The time limits are set at 3 hours and 30 minutes for the 21.1km, 2 hours and 30 minutes for the 10km, and 1 hour and 30 minutes for the 5km.

Located in Hiep Binh ward, the Van Phuc urban area is planned on a peninsula along the Saigon River, covering an area of ​​nearly 200 hectares.
