The Quang Trung Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization that aims to provide scholarships and awards to students from Binh Dinh province (now Gia Lai province after merger) studying at colleges, universities, and academies in Ho Chi Minh City. The scholarship criteria include excellent academic performance, graduating with honors, or winning awards in national or international competitions. Eligible students may also have new scientific and technological research projects, innovative startup projects; or be from Binh Dinh province but facing hardship, poverty, or the risk of dropping out of school.
The fund also provides financial support to students through scholarships, organizes start-up events, company visits, and community development activities to contribute to creating generations of talented and useful students for their hometowns.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Dien, Director and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Quang Trung Scholarship Fund, said: "Over the past 10 years, the fund has always received the support of esteemed businesspeople and philanthropists who have contributed initially as well as maintained the fund's financial resources throughout this period. From 2015 to 2024, the fund has received nearly 7 billion VND in support and sponsorship. Since then, the fund has awarded more than 845 scholarships, commendations, hardship allowances, and organized training and skills development for over 600 students."

Representatives of the Quang Trung Scholarship Fund presented commemorative plaques to benefactors and organizations that have supported the program.

In 2025, the Quang Trung Scholarship Fund will continue to award scholarships to students, each worth 5,000,000 VND, along with soft skills training courses.
Forty students, selected from numerous applications and after preliminary rounds and interviews, and meeting all the fund's requirements, were awarded scholarships on the morning of December 14th. They expressed their emotion and gratitude for the program. From now on, they have more opportunities to continue pursuing their academic dreams.
"In the future, the fund will also have many activities and improvements to its operations to make them more professional, systematic, and in-depth. We hope to continue receiving the companionship and support of businesses, organizations, and philanthropists," Mr. Nguyen Duc Dien shared.
The value of the scholarship cannot compare to the kindness and generosity of those who came before them.
At the ceremony, Dr. Huynh Cong Minh, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training and Vice Chairman of the Quang Trung Scholarship Fund Management Board, extended his congratulations to the students who received scholarships today.

Dr. Huynh Cong Minh believes that the value of the scholarships each student receives cannot be compared to the generosity of those who came before them towards today's generation of students. More than just money, the Quang Trung scholarship provides students with encouragement, inspiration, and strong motivation to strive even harder.
Notably, Dr. Huynh Cong Minh advised each student that in this new era, they need to recognize and understand themselves, identifying their strengths and the skills they need to continue learning and improving in the future. Especially English and technology, students must equip themselves strongly with these two tools to adapt and succeed in their studies and careers.
