Google has just announced its list of the most searched-for topics in 2025. Notably, among the top 10 most searched-for Vietnamese songs, two are performed using AI voices.
Besides the products of individual artists, the emergence of songs associated with artificial intelligence shows that a new trend in music listening is gradually taking shape.

The first song is "Afternoon Rain ," composed by the late musician Anh Bang - a familiar piece to many generations of lovers of romantic music. Previously, the song was successfully performed by People's Artist Thanh Hoa, Phuong Thanh, Manh Quynh, and others.
By October 2025, an AI-generated rock-style cover of "Mưa chiều" (Afternoon Rain) unexpectedly gained significant attention on TikTok, quickly reaching millions of views and spreading widely across social media platforms.

The reinterpretation of a familiar love song using AI vocals has sparked debate. Some viewers are curious and intrigued by the transformative power of the technology, while many professionals express concerns about the misuse of AI in recreating musical works that are deeply rooted in human emotions.
Nevertheless, the appeal of "Mưa chiều" (Afternoon Rain) is undeniable, as the song rose to the top of search results, becoming one of the most notable musical phenomena of the year.

The trend of applying AI is no longer limited to creating new remixes of familiar songs, but has expanded to support production and even create entirely new songs.
"Say a Lifetime for You" was released in August 2025. The song was composed by Huong My Bong (real name Nguyen Thi Huong Bong), with arrangement and production by Ken Quach, and performed using AI vocals.
With its lyrical melody infused with modern rumba elements and a catchy chorus: "I'm drunk not because of alcohol, but because I love you so much that I forget everything," the song quickly went viral on TikTok and was widely embraced by audiences.
The popularity of "Say a Lifetime Because of You" led many to mistakenly believe the song was composed by AI. Responding to these speculations, Huong My Bong told VTC News that she began sketching the song in April, inspired by a personal emotional event.

In June, she texted Ken Quách, suggesting they collaborate on a song reflecting her feelings. Ken Quách readily agreed, very sincerely. That was the moment they began their journey to create this song.
According to Huong My Bong, Ken handled all the AI technical aspects. However, for the female author, AI is just a supporting tool; the soul of the song still has to be put in by humans. For this song, artificial intelligence accounts for about 10%, while the rest is emotion, thought, and creativity from both of them.
When "Say a Lifetime for You" became a phenomenon, Huong My Bong admitted she wasn't too surprised. As soon as it was finished, she told Ken Quach that the song would definitely become popular. "Seeing that both generations empathized with it, I was confident the song would be warmly received," she affirmed.
Besides the AI version, many cover versions by Nguyen Vu, Phan Dinh Tung, and Ha Nhi also contributed to making this song a trending search phenomenon this year.
