Strictly implement collection in the field of education and training

On September 24, the Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 2177/UBND-VHXH on strengthening the direction of strict implementation of revenue collection in the education and training sector for the 2025-2026 school year.

The leaders of Pho Bang Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, Pho Bang Commune, informed parents and students about the contributions according to regulations for the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directs and assigns responsibility to the Director of the Department of Education and Training, the Chairman of the People's Committees of communes and wards to: Direct educational institutions under their management to strictly implement the provisions of law on tuition policies, exemption, reduction, tuition support, support for learning costs and service prices in the field of education and training; regulate service revenues, support for school educational activities for public preschool and general education; regulate funding for educational institutions in the national education system...; publicly implement commitments on education and training quality, quality assurance conditions and financial revenues and expenditures according to Circular No. 09/2024/TT-BGDDT dated June 3, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training to ensure publicity and transparency.

Strengthen inspection, supervision and accountability to learners and society about the collection levels and fees of educational institutions under management in accordance with regulations. Absolutely do not allow overcharging at the beginning of the school year; promptly detect and strictly handle heads of educational institutions and clarify the responsibility of state management agencies of education in the area for the occurrence of illegal collection and overcharging.
