(CTO) - On the morning of November 9, 2025, Can Tho City Social Insurance (SI) organized an online launching ceremony in response to Vietnam Law Day (November 9), promoting and mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance, family health insurance (HI) and install and use the VssID application - Social Insurance number.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Director of Can Tho City Social Insurance launched the launch ceremony.
The launching ceremony disseminated new points of the 2024 Social Insurance Law, the amended and supplemented Health Insurance Law, especially the regulations related to voluntary social insurance and family health insurance. Instructions to support people in installing and using the VssID application. Information and propaganda on medical examination and treatment using chip-embedded Citizen Identification Cards, replacing paper health insurance cards. Thereby, directly mobilizing farmers and freelancers to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance to ensure social security and stable life. Strive to complete the target of the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance during and after the launching day. At the same time, promote the role of social insurance agencies and collection service organizations in propaganda and mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance, contributing to increasing the number of participants, in order to successfully complete the assigned targets in 2025.
City Social Insurance officials and service organizations mobilized people in Ninh Kieu ward to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.
The campaign will take place from November 9 to 30, 2025, striving to increase the number of voluntary social insurance participants to over 34,000 people and family health insurance cards to nearly 105,000.
Up to now, the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance is over 81,000 people and health insurance is nearly 3,000,000 people.
