The activity corners are decorated in a variety of themes and are regularly changed to always bring newness and appeal to children.

Having more tools and toys not only helps children be more interested in participating in activities but also arouses their curiosity and desire to explore. During corner activities, children can join the teacher to experience cutting, pasting, creating shapes, and mixing colors to turn scrap materials into toys.

“The children love making toys with me. Through this activity, they learn to be skillful, thrifty and love the simple things around them. When they get home, they learn to collect and sort trash with their parents. The children and their parents will bring suitable scrap materials to contribute to the class,” added Ms. Truong Thi Le Thuy.

Students get to experience, practice skills and learn how to save.

According to teacher Bui Thi Hoa, Principal of Tran Phu Kindergarten (Thanh Sen Ward), the movement of making utensils and toys from scrap has been maintained for many years and has become a regular professional activity. The school encourages teachers to take advantage of available materials to be creative. It not only saves costs but also helps children learn in an open space, connected to reality and environmental protection awareness. Teachers coordinate with parents to guide children to classify scrap to bring to class. Before being put into use, scrap must be carefully selected and processed to ensure safety.

In kindergartens in Ha Tinh, the activity of recycling scrap into toys has become a widespread movement. Not only does it bring aesthetic value but it also has a strong educational meaning. For children, these are interesting lessons, helping to form early awareness of environmental protection. For teachers, it is the joy of being creative and seeing their achievements associated with the smiles of their students.

Teacher Nguyen Huong Giang - Bong Sen Kindergarten (Huong Khe commune) shared: "Preschool children always have the need to play with colorful, new, rich and attractive tools and toys. If the activities are fixed in the available, repetitive shopping tools and toys, it will be boring for the children.

Therefore, we call on parents to contribute used products such as: milk cartons, shampoo bottles, old calendar covers, beer cans, seashells... to create toys, school supplies and classroom decorations. Through this activity, not only will the classroom space be more beautiful, children will have more supplies and toys, but also the family will be connected with the school in accompanying activities to educate children."

With the skillful hands and dedication of the teachers, the children's study corner at Bong Sen Kindergarten (Huong Khe commune) is regularly renewed.

Teacher Phan Thi Ha Giang , Principal of Bong Sen Kindergarten (Huong Khe commune) said: "The daily work of caring for and educating children of preschool teachers is very hard and busy. There is almost no free time, so to have homemade teaching products, teachers have to take advantage of weekends, or bring them home. In addition to responsibility and dedication to the task, this is also proof of the love for the profession and children of the preschool teaching staff."

Thanks to skillful hands and devoted hearts, the movement of "turning scrap into toys" has become a bright spot in Ha Tinh kindergartens. The toys made by teachers are not only durable, beautiful, and environmentally friendly, but also highly educational, helping children learn and play safely. This meaningful work has planted in children's souls the seeds of creativity, sharing, and appreciation of the simple things in life - a vivid demonstration of the innovative and creative spirit of today's kindergarten teachers.
