
On the afternoon of November 8, Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ly Son Special Zone ( Quang Ngai Province) said that at about 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, the An Vinh high-speed boat found and rescued Mr. Le Van Sanh (37 years old), after 2 days missing at sea in Ly Son.
Then, at around 5:40 p.m., a Quang Binh fishing boat discovered and rescued Mr. Duong Quang Cuong. Thus, all three fishermen who went missing in the Ly Son sea on the afternoon of November 6, when storm No. 13 made landfall, were rescued.
Previously, at around 8:45 a.m. on November 8, the Hainan 39 ship, while traveling from Vinh Tan port to Son Duong port (Ha Tinh), while passing through Gia Lai waters, discovered and rescued Mr. Phan Duy Quang, one of the three missing fishermen. At the time of rescue, Mr. Quang was in poor health.

After receiving temporary care, Mr. Quang decided to transfer to the An Vinh high-speed boat to continue searching for the remaining two people with the authorities and local people.
Thanks to Mr. Quang’s location guidance, at around 4 p.m. the same day, the An Vinh ship discovered and rescued Mr. Le Van Sanh who was floating at sea, without a life jacket. Mr. Sanh was given water and kept warm, and his health gradually stabilized.
