Currently, traffic routes to these villages are blocked due to serious landslides, so the commune decided to transport by waterway, from Ben Gieng commune through the Song Bung 4 hydroelectric reservoir to supply people in the two villages.

In the immediate future, the commune will support Pa Rum village with 9 tons of rice and Pa Dhi village with more than 4 tons of rice and necessities.

Militia, police, youth union members, and commune officials were mobilized to unload and transport goods across landslides to the two villages. Currently, Pa Dhi village has 83 households and 325 people, and Pa Rum village has 146 households and 606 people.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Chairman of Nam Giang Commune People's Committee, said that people in the two isolated villages are still safe and in normal health.

The Commune People's Committee continues to closely monitor the situation and mobilize maximum forces to support people in isolated areas. At the same time, it coordinates with functional units to urgently repair landslide-affected roads to soon reopen the roads for people to travel normally.
