Among them, 2 groups are Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Quang Ngai Province) and Lo Xo Pass SOS Team, along with 8 individuals, who were commended for their achievements in rescuing and providing supplies to drivers stranded on Lo Xo Pass, ensuring the safety of people's lives.

The 8 individuals who were awarded included 6 police officers , including Lieutenant Colonel Duong Van Khoi (Deputy Head of the Provincial Police Traffic Police Department), Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Van Luyen (Head of Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station), Lieutenant Colonel Vo Ta Ha (Deputy Head of the Station); 2 members of the Lo Xo Pass SOS Team, Vo Quy Thang and Bui Van Huan (Dak Pek Commune).

Mr. A So Lai, Secretary of the Dak Plo Commune Party Committee, said that the floods had caused heavy property damage and threatened people's lives. The above-mentioned commended groups and individuals had actively coordinated to overcome the consequences of the storm. In the Lo Xo Pass landslide alone, about 65 vehicles with nearly 100 drivers were isolated for many days. The leaders of the Traffic Police Department, Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station and the Lo Xo Pass SOS Team went directly to the landslide site to provide relief and food supplies, and even had the initiative to use aircraft to transport goods, bringing high efficiency. Thanks to that, all drivers were safe.

As reported, since October 26, landslides have continuously occurred at Lo Xo Pass in the border area between Quang Ngai and Da Nang City, causing traffic disruption and isolating people and vehicles for many days on the pass.
