Upon receiving news of Mr. Bling Clôơch (born in 1946, Ki'noonh village, Hung Son commune) having difficulty breathing due to a relapse of lung disease on the morning of November 4, local authorities, along with police, border guards, and militia forces, quickly arrived.
Mr. Bling Tiec, son of Mr. Bling Clôơch, said: “Due to the floods and the lack of timely re-examination, my father’s condition gradually became more serious. He needed to be hospitalized immediately, but the road to the Tay Giang Regional Medical Center was heavily eroded, making it extremely difficult to move. The family did not know what else to do but rely on the local authorities and forces.”
The commune health station lacks highly specialized human resources, medical equipment and specialized medicines, so emergency treatment and treatment of serious cases on the spot is almost impossible, forcing them to be transferred to the Tay Giang Regional Medical Center, more than 45km away.
The leaders of the Commune People's Committee immediately contacted the maintenance unit of DT606 road (connecting from the center of Hung Son commune to the center of Tay Giang commune) to update the landslide situation on the route.
On the morning of November 4, the road was still impassable, with about 40 landslides and concrete road surface fractures, of which 4 were severe and completely cut off. In an emergency, the local authorities opened temporary passages at 4 cut-off locations to take patients to the emergency room.

Mr. Nguyen An, Party Secretary of Hung Son Commune, shared that on the morning of November 4, the locality had 3 other serious cases requiring hospitalization, including 1 pregnant woman who needed emergency medical intervention.
The locality immediately assigned a group of youth volunteers to go ahead to clear trees and clear paths; police, border guards, and militia participated in carrying or hanging hammocks to carry the sick person.
It was called a “temporary path”, but moving around was not easy. The ground was covered with mud and jagged bricks. Walking normally required moving step by step, but carrying a seriously ill person on one’s back who needed emergency care was even more difficult.
The forces took turns carrying the patient, with someone always ready to help from behind so that the patient would not be jolted when crossing the bumpy road. Although they were breathing heavily, their feet were cut by the gravel, but their eyes were still fixed forward.

When arriving at locations accessible by motorbike, there were already forces waiting to assist, moving the patient faster. In just 4 hours, the patient was taken to Tay Giang Regional Medical Center. Seeing the patient being supported and given timely first aid by doctors and nurses, smiles appeared on the faces still covered in mud…
Since October 29, the forces in Hung Son commune have supported the timely evacuation of 6 seriously ill patients to emergency care. Pregnant woman Rial Thi Trung (Ki'noonh village, Hung Son commune) could not express her gratitude to the officers and soldiers who carried her for a day and night in the pouring rain on October 29 to reach Tay Giang Regional Medical Center. It was her memorable journey of "delivery", when she was pregnant for the third time and was diagnosed with threatened uterine rupture.
“Thanks to timely hospitalization and surgery, both mother and child are safe and healthy. The spirit of the police, soldiers and militia for the people is truly amazing. I will always remember and never forget their gratitude,” Ms. Trung shared.

Not only Hung Son commune, during the days of heavy rain and floods, the images of shock forces in Tay Giang, Avuong or Thuong Duc silently carrying sick people across rushing water, across landslides to provide timely emergency care, left a beautiful impression in the hearts of the people.
At this time, on the mountain side, they were still ready, immediately setting off at the call of the people.
