Previously, the local authorities received information from the people of Dac Rich village about the discovery of a long crack on the mountain top. Immediately after that, the La Dee commune authorities sent forces to survey the field, specifically inspect the crack to urgently have a solution.

At the scene, the large crack stretched over 100m, causing the ground to sink to a depth of over 1m. Right at the foot of the mountain is a residential area with nearly 20 households living. In the middle of the hill, mud flows appeared, creating a large mud pit, with a very high risk of landslides.
"This area is very dangerous, because with just one more heavy rain, the land mass can slide at any time, causing serious consequences. People compare this place to a "water bomb" hanging over their heads," said Mr. Bui The Anh.

Previously, small cracks appeared in this location; after the recent prolonged heavy rain, people discovered that the cracks widened and the land showed signs of serious subsidence.
Currently, the commune government has assigned militia, police and village officials to be on duty 24/7. At the same time, it has cordoned off and posted warning signs of dangerous areas; and prepared safe temporary shelters to be ready to evacuate households when ordered.
* On the same day, Mr. Zoram Buon, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Son Commune ( Da Nang City) said that police and border guards were crossing landslide-hit passes to take three patients and a pregnant woman to the emergency room.

Specifically, at 11:30 a.m. the same day, Tr'hy Border Guard Station sent a team of 15 officers and soldiers to coordinate with Hung Son Commune Police to take four people to Tay Giang Regional Medical Center for treatment.
According to local authorities, the road from the commune to Tay Giang Regional Medical Center is currently about 30km away. This road is seriously eroded, many sections must be traveled on foot, and flatter sections must be traveled by motorbike.
