Tan My implements a model of linking cucumber growing according to the value chain

On October 13, Tan My Commune People's Committee coordinated with Agribank Chiem Hoa and the Huong Dao Vegetable and Fruit Cooperative to deploy a model of linking cucumber cultivation according to the value chain.

The Scout Cooperative supports 100% advance payment of materials and purchases all products with a floor price of 5,000 VND/kg or more.

The model aims at stability from seed supply, technology transfer , harvesting to product consumption, contributing to increasing people's income and developing the local economy .

At the Conference, the parties focused on discussing technical requirements to ensure productivity of over 5 tons/1,000 m². At the same time, a capital solution for the beginning of the crop was proposed, in which the Scout Cooperative supports 100% of material advance payment and purchases all products with a floor price of 5,000 VND/kg or more.

Farmers share the difficulties and advantages in the process of growing and caring for cucumber plants.

The local government affirmed that it will ensure the security of raw material areas, coordinate production by hamlet and promote the connection of "4 houses": State - Scientists - Enterprises - Farmers, creating a foundation for sustainable agricultural development .
