In the first days of working at the Company, when he moved from working on the field to the field of manufacturing precast concrete components in the factory, Mr. Quang encountered many surprises. However, thanks to his eagerness to learn and gain experience from practical encounters as well as the enthusiastic guidance and support of his colleagues and superiors, he adapted to the new job, accumulated a lot of useful knowledge for the job, thereby performing well the assigned tasks.

During his work, he also actively participated in many technical innovation initiatives to improve product quality and save costs for the company. The improvements that Mr. Quang made mainly revolved around quality control and improving concrete composition. In particular, the initiative he was most satisfied with was replacing part of the cement with finely ground slag - a by-product in the iron and steel industry - to optimize costs and protect the environment .

Mr. Quang said: “With the direction and policy of the factory's management board on optimizing production costs and product quality, while minimizing construction material waste to the environment, based on the foundation of my predecessors, I proceeded to replace finely ground slag (a by-product of the steel production process using closed blast furnace technology) for cement in concrete from 10-30%. After a long time of collecting statistics, I have selected the optimal concrete composition in terms of cost and quality to put into mass production.”

When applied widely, material costs are significantly reduced, concrete quality is still guaranteed, contributing to reducing product costs and increasing the competitiveness of the Company. In the long term, this improvement not only helps the Company improve production efficiency but also contributes to creating stable jobs and increasing income for workers and laborers.
