Reforming the consultation process to select outstanding delegates.
At the seminar, Dr. Tran Van - a member of the Vietnamese National Assembly in the 12th and 13th terms - stated that the consultation, nomination of candidates, and election supervision processes in this term are undergoing significant reforms to select representatives who are truly outstanding in intellect, character, and responsibility to the people.
According to him, one of the highlights is the increased openness and transparency in the consultation process, especially through the application of digital technology . Many online platforms are used to collect and analyze voter opinions and candidate data early on, instead of relying solely on traditional conferences as before.
"Technology is playing a key role in modernizing the electoral consultation process, contributing to increased democracy and efficiency of the entire process," he stated.

In addition, the Committee on Representative Affairs of the Vietnamese National Assembly has encouraged the submission of candidacy applications and minutes of consultative meetings through secure online platforms, connected to the national population database to automatically update information, reduce errors, and save time.
This approach is particularly useful for large areas, remote regions, and islands, helping to expedite the three-round consultation process while ensuring data quality and security.
Expand the channels for providing information to voters.
According to Dr. Tran Van, along with reforming the consultation process, it is necessary to continue strengthening the monitoring mechanism to ensure that the entire election process is transparent and in accordance with the law.
One of the key solutions is to expand information channels so that voters can easily access candidate profiles, action programs, and related information. When voters are fully informed, the selection of representatives will become more substantive and accurately reflect the will of the people.

Dr. Tran Van also emphasized the role of the press, social organizations, and voters themselves in monitoring and supervising the entire process, from nominating candidates and campaigning to announcing the results. The application of technology in real-time monitoring and handling of violations will contribute to improved management efficiency and strengthen public trust in the electoral process.
"Through their sacred ballots, voters not only choose their representatives but also entrust their faith in representatives who possess vision, competence, and responsibility to the people," he said.
As the country enters a new stage of development requiring accelerated institutional reforms, the improvement of the socialist rule of law, and the promotion of national digital transformation, each voter's ballot not only chooses representatives but also contributes to shaping future policies and creating momentum for the country's sustainable development.
